Hi I am Kayla, I am an endorsed midwife.
Services I provide include personalised antenatal care, homebirth, postnatal care, education, and breastfeeding support in the home setting. Providing continuity of care from the commencement of antenatal care until 6 weeks after the birth of their baby.
I have experienced empowered birth myself, which has enriched my midwifery practice and strengthened my midwifery philosophy. My practice encompasses a strong philosophy that birth is a transformative life event for women and a woman’s rite of passage to motherhood.
I see each woman’s pregnancy as unique, view women’s bodies as powerful and capable, and believe there is an intuitive connection between a woman and her baby that should be nurtured and trusted. I have a strong focus on woman and family centred care, and I am passionate about empowering women through knowledge and support to take control of their own health needs through informed choice.
