Midwife Sylvia Jenkin offers pregnancy care, hospital and home birth services and post birth home visits for 6 weeks. Sylvia obtained her midwifery qualifications in Germany in 1999 and has been on a mission to support women, babies and families ever since as a passionate midwife and lactation consultant. She is using relaxation methods based on Grand Dick Read birth preparation (commonly known as hypnobirth/calmbirth involving positive thoughts, breathing methods and water for relaxation), water birth, active birth positions and acuneedling or acupressure. She started working in private practice in 2011 and truly enjoys seeing belly’s grow into babies and couples grow into families.
