I completed my Doula Course in 2015 and Certificate IV in Doula Studies with Australian Doula College followed by various other studies including Postpartum Doula Certificate with Newborn Mothers. My career in Health began as a Registered Nurse attending my first Doula birth in 2005. Since then I have developed skills to support women holistically in their birth choices and mothering.
My belief is that all parents have the same common need for nurture, support, respect, information and safety in their birth experience. This belief is substantiated by the many wonderful parents for whom I’ve been Doula. As a woman my belief is that our bodies are created, empowered and designed to give birth with confidence. I incorporate the following offerings if desires: Acupressure, Reboso, Aromatherapy oils and Flower essences.
I am an optimistic, warm and nurturing woman who believes in positive outcomes, happy ever-afters and families who adore each other. I am the proud mother of two daughters, grandmother of two little girls and live with my partner in Buderim.
