Brisbane - Deception Bay
Homebirth Queensland runs a north Brisbane support group for anyone who is interested in Homebirth. Everyone is welcome to attend: parents, grandparents, children, midwives, doulas, students, parents-to-be and others.
Meetings are a time to come together to socialise, support, talk, listen and share wisdom. At these sessions you can meet mothers who have given birth at home, hear their birth stories, and participate in discussions on birthing and parenting. Held the fourth Wednesday of every monthVenue: Skye Blue Park, Deception Bay.
Time: 10am – 12.00pm (9:45am for a 10:00am start)
Cost: Per family $5 for non-members and $3 for HBQ members.
BYO: chair/ blanket/ pillow to sit on.
