Mother to four amazing small humans, and a passionate midwife based in Townsville, QLD.
I love working with families to support them not only physically but also emotionally, as they journey through birth into parenthood.
I strongly believe that pregnancy and birth is a normal life event, and in most cases does not require medical management. I aim to create a partnership with families that allows them to remain central to the experience even if deviations occur. I have been attending birth at home since 2021 and have a deeper understanding of the physiology of birth as a result.
More than a Midwife provides antenatal, home birth and postnatal care and education, together with breastfeeding support. Whether you are after birth education or planning, in-home postpartum support, birth debriefing or the full spectrum of antenatal, birth and postnatal care, care is tailored to suit your individual needs.
