Hi, I’m Sal ~ a homebirth midwife based in Yandina Creek on the Sunshine Coast.
For more than 25 years, I’ve been walking alongside women and families across the childbearing continuum. I’m continually in awe of the strength, wisdom, and individuality within every birth story.
My calling is to support women to feel informed, empowered, and deeply held ~ in pregnancy, birth, and the tender transition into motherhood. Continuity-of-care has shaped my entire midwifery life. I know, both personally and professionally, the steadiness and confidence that comes from being supported by your own midwife.
I offer personalised continuity of care for homebirth, as well as midwifery support and advocacy for women birthing in hospital. At the heart of my work is relationship ~ genuine connection built on trust, mutual respect, and clear communication. I’m here to walk beside you so you can make decisions that feel aligned and right for your family.
Alongside midwifery care, I offer nurturing bodywork that supports the whole of you ~ physically, emotionally, and energetically. I’m trained in external and internal pelvic release and provide in-home sessions from 34 weeks’ pregnancy through to 8 weeks postpartum. These sessions are gentle, functional, and deeply restorative, easing tension, bringing balance to the pelvis, and supporting your wellbeing in the childbearing years.
I also offer Mother Blessings, Closing of the Bones ceremonies, and personalised online sessions tailored to your questions and intentions.
If you feel curious about us working together, I’d love to connect.
Reach out for a chat ~ I’m always happy to talk through what you’re needing.
Supporting Your Sacred Journey, Sal.
