Shelly brings more than ten years experience in birthwork and bodywork to the mothers and families of Far North Queensland and beyond.
Having supported homebirths and freebirths in remote parts of Far North Queensland and Papua New Guinea, and being invited to share her skills with doctors and midwives in the remote villages of south-east Asia, Shelly brings a wealth of knowledge, wisdom and comfort to her clients.
Shelly is taking a break from attending births to focus on providing massage, pelvic alignment and internal pelvic release therapies for women during pregnancy, postpartum and beyond, as well as developing online programs to extend her support beyond the immediate FNQ community.
Shelly is also the host of the Homebirth Queensland FNQ Gatherings in Cairns, and regularly offers birth education classes, prenatal and postnatal yoga programs, and Closing the Bones ceremonies from her practice in Yorkeys Knob.
