Hi, I am Tamika.

I am a home birthing, homeschooling, term breastfeeding, babywearing Mumma to two girls (now pre teen/teen) along with my professional self-working as an Endorsed Midwife, Registered Nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Orofacial Myology Therapist. I have been a midwife since 2006 and whilst initially working in an autonomous midwifery unit, moved to a larger tertiary hospital for 10 years. I have since branched out into independent private practice as an Endorsed Midwife and am truly at ‘home’ being able to provide true continuity of care for women of the Gold Coast/Northern NSW area.

I am exceptionally passionate about all things pregnancy, birth and parenting and feel so blessed to be able to share my passion with families whom I work with every day. I believe strongly in ‘informed consent’ and working ‘with women’ to meet them where they are at and offering true autonomous care in my practice.

As an Endorsed Private Practice Midwife I have MIGA insurance, fully equipped to service families at home. I am also able to provide full scope of care including ordering blood tests, ultrasounds and providing prescriptions where required.
