Midwife means ‘With Woman’
The role of a Midwife is to offer support, guidance and education to women and their families throughout their pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum journey. An Endorsed Midwife, also known as a Privately Practicing Midwife, can order blood tests, ultrasounds and refer to specialists if needed. A Midwife is trained to understand and hold space for physiological birth, but also has the capability to manage emergency situations if they arise. An Endorsed Midwife is able to offer this service to you in your home.
